Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

About our work:

Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ITMHC) is a free service that benefits children from birth to five years old by pairing a consultant with early childhood educators (providers) to work towards improving both the provider’s and the child’s
social, emotional, and behavioral health. The overall goal of this service is to assist providers by giving them resources and tools to support the well-being of both themselves and the children in their care. This reduces
stress and burnout as well as increasing teacher retention. Consultants can also support teachers when facing challenging behaviors in the classroom, creating a
healthier environment, greater understanding of the developmental wellness of the children, and reducing early childhood expulsion.
