Not sure where to start?
The Community Child Care Clearinghouse is part of a statewide and national child care network, offering services for families, providers, and employers. We are also Standard of Excellence certified by the Early Care and Learning Council.

Referral Counselor
We prepare families for success by offering free referrals to licensed and registered child care programs. We take the time to understand your family’s specific needs – including your child’s age, schedule, location, budget, and any special considerations – and provide customized referrals to regulated programs that may be a good fit.

Legally Exempt Monitor
We assist families and caregivers with completing legally exempt enrollment forms, ensuring required health and safety training is completed, and verifying that basic standards are met. We help caregivers understand what is required to receive payment through subsidy programs and ensure documentation is accurate and submitted properly.

Business Specialist
Starting with child care business creation, we work alongside providers to help develop and strengthen core business foundations. This includes guidance on program structure, policy and procedure development, and establishing clear operational systems. We provide individualized support to ensure each program is organized, compliant, and positioned for long-term success.

Infant Toddler Specialist
We support teachers and caregivers in understanding how infants and toddlers grow, learn, and develop, while helping identify signs that a child may benefit from additional developmental or learning support services. We work alongside caregivers to understand each child’s individual needs and provide hands-on technical assistance, coaching, classroom design ideas, teaching strategies, and best practices that strengthen interactions and create responsive learning environments.

& Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant
We focus on supporting the emotional well-being of children from birth to age 5 by working directly with caregivers and educators. Our goal is to strengthen relationships, reduce challenging behaviors, and create responsive environments where all children feel safe and understood. By supporting the adults who care for young children, we help promote long-term emotional health and resilience—both in the classroom and beyond.

Health & Safety Trainer
We provide required health and safety training specifically for newly appointed child care directors. These trainings cover essential topics such as supervision, safe sleep practices, emergency preparedness, infection control, child abuse and maltreatment reporting, and overall program health and safety standards.
We guide new directors through their required training timelines and help them understand how to implement these standards within their programs.

Child Care Registration Specialists
We assist new and existing family child care and school-age programs with understanding and meeting state and federal requirements. Our role is to help providers feel informed and prepared as they work toward obtaining or maintaining their registration. We review and process registration applications, provide clear guidance on required documentation, and offer technical assistance throughout the process. We also conduct quarterly inspections as part of the registration and renewal requirements to ensure programs meet health and safety standards designed to protect children. These visits are an opportunity to offer support, answer questions, and help providers successfully meet regulations.
